This project, its client and its outcome are invented for a concept by Artlogic.
The brief
A tea house that opens at ten at night wanted to look like a lit window, not like a wellness brand.
The idea
Moths go to light, so the mark is a window and the colours are the three lamps in it: plum evening, mint steam, sulphur bulb. The wordmark is set very wide and narrows as the evening goes on.
The making
We drew the wordmark on a width axis and picked three fixed stops, wide for signage, medium for cups, narrow for stamps. Packaging uses flat plates, one colour per blend, with a printed grain so the colour never looks digital.
What it is
A system a small shop can run with a rubber stamp and three inks. Everything here is a concept; nothing was printed for a real client.
