Services

Four ways to work with us. Prices are examples in euros for a fictional studio, not an offer.

  • Identity systems

Name review, wordmark, colour, type and the rules for using them. Delivered as a working kit, not a PDF that sleeps.

    • Wordmark and colour plates
    • Type and layout rules
    • Packaging or signage templates
    • A one-page quiet-mode guide

    Example price: from EUR 18,000

  • Digital design and build

Sites that are fast and legible first and strange second. We design, then build what we design.

    • Design and prototype
    • Accessible front-end build
    • Motion rules with calm fallbacks
    • Handover and a short training session

    Example price: from EUR 24,000

  • Experimental and type

Variable type, posters, generative pieces. For people who want to make something nobody has to understand but everybody can read.

    • Research and tests
    • Custom variable settings
    • Poster or screen pieces
    • Source files

    Example price: from EUR 9,000

  • Art direction by the month

Us on your team for a rhythm: reviews, critiques and a hand on the next thing.

    • Two reviews a month
    • One shaped brief a month
    • Slack-free: we write things down

Example price: from EUR 4,500 a month

How a project runs

  1. Brief

You send a short note. We answer with questions, not a pitch.

  2. Plates

We make three colour and type directions on flat plates and show them loud.

  3. Choose

You pick one. We cut the other two without regret.

  4. Make

We build the system and the pieces, with a quiet version of every effect.

  5. Hand over

You get the files, the rules and a call to explain them.

Questions

Are these prices real?

No. Pigment & Static is a fictional studio and every price is an example written for a concept project.

Do you make things that move?

Yes, and every moving thing has a still version. Reduced-motion settings are respected everywhere.

Do you work with small organisations?

We like them. A small brief is a good brief if it knows what it wants to say.

Can I see the files you make?

The projects here are invented, so the files only exist as designs. In a real engagement you receive everything.

What do you need from me?

A short description, a rough date and one thing you would never want your work to look like.
