The place
The house stands above the invented village of Ostrel, between two rows of vines.
Concept project by Artlogic. Casavel is a fictional hotel: nothing here can be booked.
The slope
The house faces east and south. Mornings begin on the vine side and afternoons move to the courtyard.
The village
Ostrel has a bakery, a church with a short tower and a bar open on Saturdays. It is a ten minute walk down and a fifteen minute walk up.
The wind
Locals call it the afternoon breath. It rises about three, drops about seven, and is the reason the vines are healthy and the rooms are cool.
Getting here
This is a fictional place and it has no address. In a real house this is where directions, transfers and parking would be written.

The wind, month by month
| Month | The wind |
|---|---|
| April | Light, from the west, mostly after noon. |
| July | Steady, from the south, strongest at dusk. |
| September | Cool, from the north, the first sign of harvest. |
Invented figures for the concept.
