Finishes for this piece

  • Natural oak, oiled

Pale, honey at the edges, with the grain left open. A thin hard-wax oil that you can touch up yourself.

included. Made to order, 7 to 9 weeks (example).

  • Walnut, hard-wax oil

Chocolate brown with grey-violet streaks. The grain varies more from board to board than any other wood we use.

+320 EUR. Made to order, 8 to 10 weeks (example).

  • Cherry, natural oil

Pale pink when cut, then red-brown within a year. Smooth, quiet grain with small pith flecks that are part of the wood.

+210 EUR. Made to order, 7 to 9 weeks (example).

How it is made

The edge is rolled by hand. A top this thick needs twelve days to glue and dry flat before it can be turned.

Looking after it

Oil the first week, then yearly. A cup ring usually sands out with the oiling.

  • Brae shelving

Bookshelf. Open shelving that carries a full row of books without bowing.

  • Vesper sideboard

Sideboard. Three doors, two adjustable shelves and a drawer deep enough for a table runner.

  • Twin side tables

Nesting side tables. Two tables that sit one under the other when the room needs space.
