Solutions
Four ways a careful reader could be put to work. This is a concept: none of them exists as a product.
Contract notes
Reads a services agreement and marks renewal terms, notice periods, liability caps and missing clauses.
A reviewer gets the contract with marks in the margin: what renews, what costs, what is missing. Each mark quotes the clause and names the reading rule behind it. A lawyer decides; the marks only point.
- Inputs
- A contract as PDF or text.
- Outputs
- The same document with marks and a one-page list of notes.
- The human step
- A named person reviews every mark before anything leaves the building.
Invoice checks
Reads a supplier invoice and marks arithmetic that does not add, missing references and changed bank details.
Line items are recomputed and shown beside the printed totals. A changed payment account is flagged for confirmation by a channel you already trust, never by the contact on the invoice.
- Inputs
- An invoice as PDF or image.
- Outputs
- The invoice with marks and the recomputed totals.
- The human step
- Accounts payable confirms, approves or rejects.
Letter triage
Reads incoming client letters and marks deadlines, requests, cost claims and the right person to answer.
A complaint with a deadline in the second sentence should not wait in a shared inbox. The marks show the deadline, what is being asked, and what is missing before anyone can answer.
- Inputs
- A letter or email as text.
- Outputs
- The letter with marks and a suggested route.
- The human step
- A named owner replies; the suggestion can be ignored.
Policy comparison
Sets two versions of an internal policy side by side and marks what changed in meaning, not only in wording.
A reworded paragraph can change who is responsible. The comparison marks shifts in obligation, scope and dates, and leaves unchanged text alone.
- Inputs
- Two versions of one policy.
- Outputs
- The newer version with marks against the older.
- The human step
- The policy owner confirms each change.
What none of these do
- Give legal, tax or financial advice.
- Approve, reject or pay anything.
- Replace the person who signs.
- Claim an accuracy figure. This concept has none.
